After spending 25 years in Middle to Senior Management for several Fortune 500 Companies and presently as Operations Manager for Metro Atlanta for one of the world's largest labor providers, I was thirsting to reflect and share with aspiring business professionals.With that said, as my experiences allowed me to work with young male's, several things had become blatantly apparent. The systematic mindset starts at a very young age which ultimately shapes us.In knowing that these obstacles will continue to perpetuate and exist, I set a goal to get as many young men that may not have a male influence in their life to understand the importance of self-care. This means the practice of taking an active role in protecting one's own well-being and happiness, in particular during periods of stress.Whenever you feel yourself falling off track attempt to reflect on the fact that "Polishing Your Appearance" is more than a state of mind To be clear, this is not a story about my shortcomings in life, however, it is more about how "Red" my Mother started the process of "Polishing My Appearance.
