How come most career politicians who make between $125, 000 to $175, 000 a year are worth tens of millions of dollars when they leave office? How were they able to accumulate such wealth?To clarify my first observation, remember when President Obamas US Senate seat ($175, 000 yearly) was available and someone offered $5, 000, 000 to buy it? If politics were legitimate, it would take almost forty years to get back their initial investment. I think they must know something the rest of us dont know!I believe many Republican politicians have a misguided sense of security. They believe that the voters want a change in leadership in Washington when in reality, they want to change how government operates.Washington has become completely dysfunctional because most of our elected officials are lawyers. Lawyers are process-focused and, therefore, love complexity. They practice manipulation and distortion when arriving at their conclusions. That is why illegal immigration is not enforced. Our laws state that it is against the law to enter our country illegally, and our fearless leaders in Washington will not enforce the law. They have manipulated truth to fit their political agenda. This is the same agenda that justified giving hundreds of millions of dollars in bribes to pass the National Health Care Bill. They cheat, lie, and steal in the name of politics and are ready to condemn those on Wall Street for less.The problem is exacerbated with their judicial mentality. Procedures have replaced truth, and common sense has become uncommon. Politicians/lawyers will always justify this distortion and condemn those that question these methods. Organizations like the ACLU make a mockery of traditional truth and justice. They are our nations worst enemy. They have manipulated our Constitution by defending the rights of the criminal to the detriment of the victim.Capitol Hill is referred to as the Last Plantation by Washington insiders. Can anyone argue with that analysis? Our politicians/lawyers are ruining our country and becoming wealthy in their efforts.The Tea Party has succeeded in bringing this criminal behavior to the forefront. Term limits should become law, and the Congress should not be allowed to pass anything for the American people that they themselves do not participate in. Our Constitution is Americas perfect blueprint, and it is being marginalized. We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. (Abe Lincoln)
