Alfred baker, m.a, President of the Association, replied, and in concluding his remarks said I have pleasure in reading a cablegram which has just been placed in my hands. Just at this moment the teachers of England are meeting at Brighton, and they have cabled to us: The National Union of Teachers sends fraternal greetings and good wishes - Signed by the Secretary. Prof. Pike then threw upon the screen diagrams showing the location of the various rooms in the Chemical Building for the guidance of the audience who visited the various departments, and afterwards the Biological Building, under the leadership of Prof. Ramsay Wright.
