Proses has been selected as the inaugural volume in the Copper Canyon Press Writing Re: Writing series, each annual volume to be a major collection of essays on poetry by a leading poet. In these essays and reviews, the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet assays the work of many contemporary poets including Hayden Carruth, Denise Levertov, James Merrill, Louise Bogan, Robert Creeley, Marge Piercy, John Berryman and others.
