Der Cosinus ist o¿'enbar ebenso eine Funktion des Winkels, wie die Empfindung eine solche des Reizes ist. Läfst man also beide Reize an demselben perzipierenden Organ wirken, so addieren sie sich, ohne dafs jeder eine besondere Empfindung auslöst.
