Angebote / Angebote:
This work focuses in different parts - with particular emphasis on China - on issues that arose during the 2004 States Parties meeting to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, held during the GA session, on integrated coastal zone management, on oil and gas development in the South China Sea environment, on regional fisheries in the Northeast Asian seas as well as in the South China Sea, on regional maritime enforcement, on global developments in marine science, on commercial shipping in the region, and on protection of underwater cultural heritage issues and regional cooperation. The book makes clear that there is a strong, shared commitment to cooperative solutions over disputes within the framework of the 1982 Convention on the Law of the Sea and will be useful to anyone analyzing this field of law or working on these issues.
