Dr. Craik, whilst the Edinburgh Schools possess an eloquent advocate in the Rev. Dr. Guthrie. Scotland agitated for its own Act of Parliament, one suited to its requirements, - not an extension of the English, but a genuine Scotch Act, and the Act was passed some few months after the passing of the English measure.
