Excerpt from Register of Edinburgh Apprentices, 1666-1755There are no separate registers of apprentices, the entries occur along with those of Burgesses and Guild-brethren in the scroll registers of the Dean of Guild Court, from which the Burgesses and Guild-brethren were carefully and legibly entered in their own register volumes, some of which still exist.
