IX) Show the cost of repairs per square yard for sheet-asphalt pavements upon 6-inch and 11-inch bases. No expense for repairs has been incurred for streets paved with asphalt block, although some will have to be repaired during the present season.The present season has been particularly bot, without any intervening cool spells such as generally occur during the summer at this latitude. The result has been that the sheet asphalt has become thoroughly heated and softened, and has not had an Opportunity for weeks at a time of hardening.
