A 15-week survey in essay form answering the question, What is art? The contained essays aim to consider the parameters of art and, in particular, photographic media (still photography, film, video, augmented reality, virtual reality, etc) in the 21st century through a series of conceptual inquires, which intersect with and build upon each other. These prompts take into account the scholarship of late 20th century art historians, including Stuart Hall Rosiland Krauss, and George Baker.
