Die Tagung der International Simulation and Gaming Association fand im Juli 2014 statt. Die reviewten Beiträge präsentieren innovative Ideen zur Arbeit mit Planspielen und decken weite Themenfelder wie Lernnutzen, Planspiele für Wirtschaft und Management, Logistik, Stadtplanung und Umwelt ab. Einige Autoren befassen sich darüber hinaus mit der Theorie, Forschung und Praxis der Planspielentwicklung. The anthology presents selected articles on the research and implementation of experimental planning games. All articles were submitted as full papers for the conference "The Shift from Teaching to Learning: Individual, Collective and Organizational Learning through Gaming & Simulation". The International Simulation and Gaming Association conference was held in July 2014. The articles reviewed here present innovative ideas for working with experimental planning games and cover additional topics like learning benefits, experimental planning games for business and management, logistics, urban planning and environment. Some authors additionally discuss the theory, research and practice of experimental planning game development. The complete conference contributions and summaries of the workshops and of the posters introduced are available on a CD.
