These guidelines pertain to employees of employers performing shipyard activities on the shore, pier, terminal, yard, shipyard, machine shop, riverbank, etc., as well as on the vessels afloat or in dry-docks or graving docks are covered by the Shipyard standards. This guide also provides guidelines on the method to handle accident and incident investigations that may relate to workplace fatalities, injuries, illnesses, or potentially hazardous incidents.
