Late at night, author Gerson Fabe retires to a little corner of his home and types into a laptop computer until the wee hours of the morning. "I usually have a line or two that intrigues me, " he says. "From there, the words take over, " he adds, "placing themselves on the computer screen and ultimately on the page."
