In the room are slaves, attendants and mem bers of the two families. The wedding celebration is in progress, and all are in festal mood and dress. Rose petals are strewn on the floor, platters heaped with fruits are at the front and side of the stage, and incense is burning in two braziers.Kodama - Thy slave dances with the grace of a startled gazelle.
