We shall have no occasion to speak of his wars with the Mahrattas, 01 the struggle for possession Of the Carnatic with Hyder Ali. For, although these great efforts Of our then feeble power in the East may have given occa sion for the course of policy arraigned by Mr. Hastings' accusers, they are not among the transactions included in the Articles Of impeachment.
