From the German Network Enforcement Act (NetzDG) to the European Digital Services Act (DSA)«: The paper first examines the Network Enforcement Act (NetzDG) and then the relationship to the Digital Services Act (DSA), which follows a similar approach and also provides for the reporting of suspected criminal offences under certain conditions. Even if the NetzDG is partly overlaid, it also clarifies and specifies the requirements set up in Art. 18 DSA. The study comes to the conclusion that only by linking German and European law can effective criminal law enforcement be achieved.
