The advices related to it's form. I have constantly adhered to that of 12mo. in these three successive editions, because it is more commodious, an easier purchase to the Reader, and more beneficial to the Author, because Pirates find less profit in counterfeiting it. The fashionable world, however, signified a preference in favour of an 8vo, as being more genteel, and because the page, having a broader margin, and admitting of a larger space between the lines, the impression would be more beautiful.
