Having just changed lovers, again, orthopedist Dr. Soledad (Só-le) del Valle tires quickly of the men in her life. Sole's family barely survived the Spanish Civil War. He father teaches her to be strong and above all else let no one control you. She does not want a husband, but she could use a male 'wife'. Prof. Aaron Goodlander is devoted to his father, Sam, a strong caring father who desperately wants grandchildren before he dies.
