Author - Sylvia M. Medina is a mother and an environmental engineer. She founded Green Kids Club to encourage "Growing Up Green". Each of her stories introduces a tough environmental issue such as poaching or habitat encroachment. With the help of talking animals and local friends, the Green Kids manage to get into and out of trouble while helping the environment.
