Holothuria captiva Ludwig is a small dark-green Aspido chirote holothurian, 2 which is relatively common in certain local ities in the Bermudas. It is found exclusively, during the day time at least, clinging to the under sides of slabs of stone on rather exposed shores, just under low water mark. Individuals ranging in length from 4 to 100 mm.
