Excerpt from The Annual of the British School at Athens: No, IV., Session 1897-8For our present purpose Of presenting an interim Report of the progress Of this exploration in the season Of 1898, we must take up the narration where we took up the work, namely, at the point where it was left in the season preceding. As an excavation progresses, it goes without saying that much modification is bound to be introduced into views and interpre tations.
