In The Crystal Oasis, a special group of ten enlightened teenagers-born in a time when the middle-class "American Dream" is quickly slipping away and the earth is wounded-find something mystical on the island of Maui, Hawaii. They are blessed by the local kahuna to use these sacred tools to make their mission a reality. They have been working on a plan for over four years and are now putting into effect ideas that will help masses of young people to become self-sufficient and show the world how to achieve peace. With the help of an old Native American chief, the tribe's medicine man, and the kahuna, they find a sacred valley in a desert of the United States. It requires much financial help-along with divine intervention-but there are soon 20, 000 people living in a self-sufficient environment. When the group is challenged by the state and federal authorities, they are rescued by a much more mystical and powerful force-a force that has the power to transform the entire planet.
