Excerpt from The Feather, 1897, Vol. 3In 1895 Germany imported pounds of eggs, which were valued at Allowing 1% pounds to the dozen, the average value was 14% cents per dozen It is worthy of notice that the values entered in the statistics are put upon such articles by a Commission of experts in Germany, and, therefore, we have here only the average value of eggs in the empire with nothing to indicate the price actually obtained for the eggs from the individual countries. For both 1895 and 1896 the value was placed at 89 marks per 100 kilograms.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
