The book gives the reader an opportunity to discover that everything in life can be seen as a positive synchronicity of events. It is a perception that recognises one's life as a harmonious flow, which always leads to a greater degree of self-understanding. The experience of becoming more self-aware is often referred to as "awakening". This is why the book is entitled: The Gift of Awakening. When we allow ourselves to work on self-awareness we embrace the greatest of all gifts, which is knowledge and understanding. These two are necessary to practice self-love. Only through self-love we can truly appreciate others and everything around us. The world is never being changed through the idea of changing others. The lasting change always begins with our-selves.
