The Goose Maiden was written in 1992. Performed at the Caird Theatre, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama at Cardiff, with music composed especially for it. Also, a local Welsh group (Drama First) was formed just to perform the piece. They performed it at the Norwegian Church Arts Centre in Cardiff Bay and at a north Cardiff venue. It was withdrawn in 1993 and has not been heard of or performed since until re-discovered by Wordcatcher Publishing.
