At the age of eight Ralf was bitten by a sickening beast sent to destroy, from another world. To save his fading life a brave Martian green one-eyed space hunk gave him his blood, some of his sensing and conjuring powers, and also - his eternal guardianship and friendship.
Now at the age of eighteen, type one diabetic Ralf is waiting to see if he has graduated from the only space academy in the Uk and if he has been given permission to enter space. But as well as his lifelong condition, his unusual powers causing him to be hunted down for sport by the Martians. What with most of them being cold-blooded unfeeling monsters.
With the help of a handsome, black, muscled wolf shifter whom he meets along the way and a fun-loving cute alien female, he takes on the danger that is coming fast down to earth from the sky above.
The Martians and whatever else life throws their way.
For he is the only human sensor.
