Hebids them, that had been born again through the incarnation of Christ, to follow in His steps. "Be ye minded even as Christ Jesus." The Apostle then dwells on the mystery of His unutterable humiliation, who, being in the form of God, and co-equal with God unclothed Himself of His eternal glory, and took upon Him the weeds of our fallen manhood, and became a servant, being made in the likeness of man. And, even in this humiliation, He yet further abased Himself, and, being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death.
