Moreover, I frankly admit that world peace seems to me to be a greater issue than German prosperity.I regret that among the numerous critics of the German nation who share my point of view there are few who are interested in the cul tural side of the German mind. For thirty years I have tried to dis seminate the knowledge of these very treasures. In this book their sp1r1t 1s offered as the basis for a German postwar education. Their devaluation would serve the world as little as would a dismemberment of Germany.To my mind the economic conquest of postwar Germany is secondary to its moral conquest - and this moral conquest is definitely possible.
