Most of its writers seem to feel that it is time to stop in the career of not believing. The transcendentalism, the rational ism-or to call things by their right names, the downright German pano theism of some men about Boston who pretend to be Christian preach ers, has alarmed the more serious and conservative sort of Unitarians, and the Examiner accordine stands for the evidences of Chris tianity against what we in our liber ality and simplicity, might have called the latest form of Unitarian ism, had not Professor Norton taught na to call it the latest form of infidelity.
