Welcome to the instructions and philosophy to train the "Diamond Master" way, so that young athletes, new to the games and already playing, may become as good as they can be in development and application of softball and baseball strengthened life skills. As we begin this interactive study of technique building and competitive mindset, it is important to have an overall feel for the umbrella concepts guiding the methods you are about to review, hopefully absorb, and thus will apply. "Diamond Master" is coined to emphasize the mechanical, tactician-like training and determination, to get the best work and skills from, and for, the player. In addition, and most importantly, this guide is intended to present forward in an understandable manner, the significant Life Experiences that are a derivative gift of the game when focused properly, for everyone involved, including Players, Parents, Coaches and Umpires.
