After the war, Christopher and his wife made their home and career in Dartmouth, Devon, where they founded the Harbour Bookshop in 1951. This is a moving account of a young man's search for identity, of a struggling (but later thriving) bookshop, and of Milne's own family life in a small English country town. Narrator Peter Dennis, a longtime friend of the Milne family, made this recording as a final gift for Clare Milne, Christopher Robin Milne's only child.
