INTRODUCTION A. Life and Works Professor K. Satchidananda Murty was bom on 25th September 1924 to Sri K. Veerabhadraiah, a religious minded landlord and his devoted wife Ratnamma in Sangam Jagarlamudi near Tenali in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India.
