The Scapegoat

Angebote / Angebote:

I did not have financial transactions with that man... While serving as a major in Vietnam in 1972, Jim Sullivan wrote what he considered to be a joke, which indicated he was considering selling highly classified information to the press. General Creighton Abrams, the commander in chief of all military forces in Vietnam, discovered what Jim had written and did not take it well. General Abrams directed that a ruinous efficiency report be rendered on Sullivan and that he be assigned to the most dangerous area in the country. When Sullivan was re-assigned he realized his career was over. He decided to take action by suing, which ended in a courtroom battle. A captain, a military-intelligence operative, and a brilliant army lawyer recognized Sullivan had been seriously wronged and secretly worked together to resolve his predicament. 25% of the proceeds from this book will be donated to an orphanage and to needy individuals. About the Author: James L. Sullivan is married and presently living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where his caregiver, Tran Thi Thanh, provides for all of his needs. He has four adult offspring, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Sullivan has traveled extensively, having visited all seven continents, 146 countries and all 50 states in the US.
