Through all the camps and out to the trenches news went of this Club in one of the great houses of London, where a man could find not only good food and a warm bed. But a hot bazh, 9 change of underclothing, a dressing gown and easy slippers!Nay more, his underwear was washed and if necessary sterilised, his uniform was cleaned and his ri¿e and other equipment stored until wanted.
