Jake is a middle-aged guy in a dead end job until one day he inherits a plot of land from an uncle he barely knew. He's soon approached by a mysterious stranger who tells him that along with the land, he's also inherited his uncle's job: Burying bodies for a shadowy, seemingly omnipotent organization.
