Excerpt from The Victorian Naturalist, Vol. 88: The Magazine of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria, January-December, 1971The Potoroo is similar in general appearance to the Bettong but is much more obese and hence is not so graceful, The tail has no crest and the white tip is longer enabling it to be seen at a distance. Wood Jones (1924) describes a uniform darkening to black at the tip of the tail. He seems to regard a white tip as rare. He gives eye colour as brown.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
