Things We Can't Escape is a collection of poetry that explores grief, love, and healing. Townsend wrote this collection of poetry for the times when she cried in the car, the times she had to go to work when her heart was broken, the times when she cried out in her sleep while missing a loved one... the days when she wondered, filled with grief, how would she ever get through another minute, let alone another day?
The poems are divided into sections so readers may refer back to the sections as needed.
