This volume comprises twenty papers originally presented at the 4th Meeting of the EURO (Association of European Operational Research Societies) held in Newcastle. The topics covered at the conference included: traffic assignment, estimation of origin-destination flows, traffic modelling, traffic management and control, transport network analysis and design, transportation planning methods, routing and scheduling, and ITS applications.
