Included in this information are data and estimates of the quantity of textile fibers consumed or made available for consumption during the period of 1892 to 1939. That information is presented herewith in the belief that it will be of value to growers and handlers of fibers, to stu dents of production and consumption trends, and to others. It is presented to answer such questions as: (1) How much has consumption of cotton and other textile fibers in the United States increased or decreased during the last five decades?
