My only recollection of my mother is from a pencil sketch, made by some adventurous artist who must have been struck by her appearance. She was killed by a Nesbitt who, in the thick of the fight, mistook her for a man, and they say that her slaughterer, discovering the truth, humbly bowed to her as she lay dying and begged her pardon. Uncle Gabe killed him.
