Excerpt from Weekly Station Reports of the Division of Dry Land Agriculture, Bureau of Plant Industry, U. S. Department of Agriculture: September 5, 1931Some fall plowing was done. The second date of seeding winter wheat was made on September 1. The August 15 date of seeding is growing nicely. Winter rye seeded July 25 is good pasture in more favored places but on typical bench land is suffering from drought. The dry, hot weather of August has checked native grass. The range is well cured but in many places it is shorter than it seemed two weeks ago.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
