This thesis provides a comprehensive status report of the female juvenile prison system in Germany. Based on a questionnaire survey of 260 young women, different key aspects like education and job perspectives, family background or drug abuse of female juvenile prisoners were researched. Due to these findings, reform proposals - especially for the accommodation of these young women - are presented.
