When I Grow Up" is Sharon's second book for preschoolers. With this book, she hopes to encourage preschoolers to begin to think about what they may want to do when they grow-up and to have the confidence that they can be anything they want to be. The subject of her first book, "Grammy Loves Me", is the special relationship and love between a grandmother and her granddaughter. Future books will explore, for preschoolers, topics such as respect, family and self-esteem.
Net proceeds of all book sales are donated to charitable organizations that help women and children around the world. Sharon is also an artist, working mostly in water colors and liquid acrylics, and more information, as well as her paintings, may be found at her website, sharonburtonartforcharity.org.
