Angebote / Angebote:
On June 25 and 26, 1876, Lakota and Cheyenne warriors, led by Chief Sitting Bull, fought against U.S. cavalry troops led by General George Custer. The Native American forces overwhelmed and defeated the U.S. troops. The battle was part of the Great Sioux War of 1876-1877, a struggle for control of land and natural resources as U.S. settlers and miners pushed west into Cheyenne and Lakota territory in the northern Great Plains.
