The Ph.D. thesis, which is located at the interface between capital markets law and general contract law, focusses on the different rights to withdraw in Equity Crowdfunding. After giving a short overview of Equity Crowdfunding in Germany the author concentrates on the withdrawal right pursuant to § 2d of the German capital investment act and various other withdrawal rights in German contract law, especially the right to withdraw with respect to distance contracts. At the end a system of withdrawal rights in Equity Crowdfunding is developed.
