World War I: Daily Journal serves as a record of the daily occurrences of the First World War. From the trenches on the Western Front in France, to the shores of Gallipoli, to the skies ruled by the Red Baron, this book takes the reader to every major battlefront of the war and gives great detail on the daily
events that took place in the four years of the dreaded conflict. Beginning with the assassination of the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and then moving on to the Austrian declaration of war on Serbia, with day-by-day events that led to the end of the war with the signing of the Armistice of Compiegne and following events after the war that led to an even greater conflict twenty years later, this book gives great insight to the reader concerning the daily events of the War to End All Wars.
