The leaves of Allophylus abyssinicus (Hochst.) Radlk. (family: Sapindaceae) are traditionally used for the treatment of wounds, burns and in arresting bleeding and skin diseases in the Ethiopian folk medicine. However, there is no prior scientific study regarding phytoconstituents and biological activities. Therefore, the present study was aimed at evaluating the wound healing activity of the plant.
